Activities
Day 1 - Arrival in Tirana
After your flight to Tirana you will meet your throughout Spanish Speaking guide and the driver that will escort you for the entirety of the trip. You will embark on your journey towards Europe’s hidden gem. After a short transfer you will visit the bustling capital of Albania, Tirana. Visit the Skanderbeg square, the Et’hem Bey Mosque, and the main administrative buildings, continue your walking tour through the old communist neighborhood of “Blloku” and finish at the Mother Teresa Square. As you walk through the streets of Tirana, keep an eye out for one of the many old communist buildings of the city, now painted colorfully and filled with mural paintings. Learn about the communist history of the country. After checking-in at the hotel and free time for lunch in the center of the city, in the afternoon we will visit the New Bazaar of Tirana, a fruit and vegetable market near the center. Welcome dinner with traditional dishes and a folk show in Tirana.

Day 2- Berat, City of 1001 Windows
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey towards Berat, a UNESCO Heritage city known as the “City of 1001 Windows” due to its well-preserved architecture from the 17th–18th centuries. Learn about the historical importance of Berat as you visit the “Medieval Center” and “Berat Castle.” Within the castle, you will also explore the old cathedral and the Onufri Museum, dedicated to post-Byzantine church art in Albania. Visit one of the many Orthodox churches dating back to the 13th–15th centuries.
Lunch will be at a traditional restaurant in Berat. Afterward, check in at the hotel, and in the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Mangalemi and Gorica neighborhoods. Here, we will also visit a local family living in one of Berat’s traditional houses.
Later, take a short drive to a winery for a visit, including wine tasting and finger food, before returning to Berat.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel Onufri 4* or a similar accommodation.
Day 3- Gjirokaster, the Stone City
After breakfast, we will visit a local artist specializing in ceramic works. Following this visit, we will transfer to Gjirokastër. Upon arrival, visit the GjiroArt Center, where the women of the city showcase their artisanal work. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a local specialty that Gjirokastër takes pride in.
Lunch will be in Gjirokastër’s old town. Afterward, enjoy sightseeing in Gjirokastër, including visits to the Castle of Argjiro and the Skenduli Museum House, both architectural masterpieces that contribute to the city’s status as a UNESCO Heritage Site.
The afternoon will be free for you to explore the Bazaar of Gjirokastër at your own pace. Dinner will also be on your own in Gjirokastër.
Overnight accommodation will be at Hotel Fantasy 4* or a similar hotel.
Day 4- Visiting Butrint & Ksamil
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the archaeological site of Butrint. Explore this ancient city, dating back to the 8th century B.C., and experience its rich history, spanning the Illyrian tribes, the Epirus state, and the civilizations of the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Venetians, and Ottomans.
After visiting Butrint, we will continue to Ksamil for a mussel boat tour on the salty lake of Butrint. Enjoy lunch by the lake following the tour.
Later, we will transfer to Sarandë and enjoy free time for dinner.
Overnight at Hotel Brilant 4* or similar in Sarandë.
Day 6- Explore Albanian Riviera
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start driving along the Riviera, stopping to visit multiple villages with opportunities for photo breaks, swim breaks, and cultural visits along the way. Enjoy free time for lunch in Himarë.
Upon arriving in Vlorë in the afternoon, we will visit the City of Independence. Explore the Muradie neighborhood and the pedestrian walk of “Lungo-Mare.” Admire the largest communist-era monument, the Statue of Independence, and stroll past the small House of Independence.Enjoy free time for dinner in Lungo-Mare.

Day 6- Visit Ardenica, Durres, Shkoder
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting the day with a transfer to the Ardenica Monastery, one of the most significant historical and religious sites in medieval Albania. Learn about the history of Skanderbeg and Albania's first king.
Continue the journey to Durrës for a short city tour and lunch by the beach.
After lunch, transfer to Shkodër to visit the Rozafa Castle, which offers stunning views of Shkodra Lake, the largest lake in the Balkans.
Proceed to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Hotel Tradita G&T or similar.
Day 7 - Spend the day visiting Shkodra and Kruja
On day 7, after breakfast at the hotel we will start with the visit of the Pedonale, and the Catholic Cathedral of St. Stephen, learn also the cultural and artistic history of the city of Shkoder, with Kole Idromeno as well as modern artistry, we will visit the Venetian Masks factory in Shkoder, a workshop where local artist hand-make paper-mâché masks. After visiting the Northern Capital of the country, we drive to Fishte village to visit the biggest farm and agro-tourism in Albania“Mrizi I Zanave” for a farm visit, and lunch with traditional and seasonal dishes. Last transfer to the Medieval capital of Albania Kruje. Visit the castle and the bazaar of Kruje.

Day 8- Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, free time at your leisure until your transfer back to the Tirana International Airport for your onward flight.
