Learn about the history and culture of the “Geg” population of Albania and explore the Kanun of Leke Dukagjini, the first Albanian constitution from the 1400s. Enjoy the best local home-made foods, including cheeses, honey, jams, jellies, and, of course, the renowned Balkan spirit drink, RAKI.
Day 1: Arrival in Shkoder
Upon arrival in Shkoder, meet your experienced hiking guide who will accompany you throughout the trip. You'll have the afternoon to explore Shkoder, a city known for its rich history and scenic surroundings. Visit the pedestrian area, the iconic Shkoder Cathedral, and immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of the city. Free evening at your leisure.
Day 2: Transfer to Theth
After a scenic transfer to the village of Theth, your first adventure begins. Enjoy lunch in Nderlysa before setting out on a beautiful hike to the "Blue Eye" – This is a moderate hike through the dense forest surrounding Nderlysa. The highlight is the Blue Eye – a crystal-clear spring that bubbles up from the earth. This hike offers stunning views and a chance to see the untouched beauty of the Albanian Alps.. The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring the Lock-in Tower and the Theth Church, both steeped in history and local folklore.
End the day with a traditional dinner at your guesthouse and relax for an overnight stay in Theth.

Day 3: Hike Peja Pass
Today, you'll embark on a thrilling trek through the Peja Pass, one of the most scenic routes in the Albanian Alps. The Peja Pass hike is an exhilarating day-long trek, taking you to the heart of the Albanian Alps. The path winds through dense forests and across alpine meadows, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The journey is both challenging and rewarding, offering an opportunity to truly connect with the pristine wilderness. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your guesthouse and rest after the day's exertion.

Day 4: Trek from Theth to Valbona
Prepare for one of the most famous hikes in Albania – the trek from Theth to Valbona. Known as one of Albania’s most famous trekking routes, this trek takes you across the mountains between Theth and Valbona. The trail passes through dense forests, alpine meadows, and high mountain ridges. The rugged terrain and majestic views make this one of the must-do hikes for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Once you arrive in Valbona, enjoy a well-deserved dinner at your guesthouse and reflect on the day's adventure.

Day 5: Hike to Pyramid 18
Today's hike will take you to the majestic Pyramid 18, a fascinating pass in the Albanian Alps. The trek is set in an isolated area, allowing for a deep connection with nature. A challenging yet awe-inspiring hike, the panoramic views from the pass offer a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making this an unforgettable experience. After the hike, return to the guesthouse for dinner and relax for the night.

Day 6: Transfer to Shkoder via Koman Lake
Bid farewell to the Albanian Alps as you transfer back to Shkoder via the beautiful Koman Lake. After the journey, enjoy a farewell dinner with your group, celebrating the adventure you've shared together.
Day 7: Departure
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your transfer back to Tirana, where your unforgettable adventure in the Albanian Alps coms to an end.
